There are days at work on which I’m glued to the desk. The problem with that is very simple: I crave food or munching on something out of boredom. Good news is, there are so many healthy alternatives before you grab that snickers bar!

I like to prepare little snack boxes for long days at work. You can easily prepare them in advance and then just grab ’em when you leave the house. For fruit that tends to oxidise on air, soak the slices in water with a bit of lemon juice to prevent browning.

The box above features

1 green apple (the slightly sour ones have less fructose)
2 carrots
1 satsuma
6 cabanossi (mini sausages)
1 home made clean granola bar (recipe will follow and be linked here)

other possible ingredients

  • cheese
  • peanut butter
  • egg(s)
  • berries
  • any kind of vegetable

Just make them your own thing and snack healthy!
