This is a recipe by cleanfoodcrush. If you have already taken a look at her post, you will find that my meal looks very different from hers. Well, that has two very obvious reasons: (1) I changed things up a bit, (2) this isn’t nicely staged. It still tasted very good, so no need to worry about the optical part 😉

For 2-3 servings you need:

  • 250 g ground meat
  • 1 onion
  • chili and garlic powder, cumin, salt
  • 1 can (255 g) kidney beans
  • low sugar salsa OR a can of diced tomatoes + 1 chili
  • 75 mL water
  • 2 corn flour tortillas
  • cheese
  1. Cut the onion and cook it in a pan until glassy
  2. Add the ground meat until brown, then season with the listed seasonings
  3. Add beans, salsa and water, let it simmer on medium heat for five minutes
  4. cut the tortillas into strips and stir them in, cook for another 3-5 minutes
  5. take what you want and cover it with some cheese on your plate
