Have you ever eaten tarte flambée? If not, look no futher, this low carb version is all you need. If yes, celebrate the joys of this wonderful version with me. I love it, a lot. Like, really a lot.

For 2 servings you need:

  • 2 eggs
  • 120 g quark
  • 1 tsp almond flour
  • 150 g grated cheese
  • 60 g crème fraîche
  • 2 green onions
  • 75 g diced bacon
  1. preheat oven to 175-180 °C.
  2. Mix the eggs, quark, almond flour and 100 g of the cheese. Spread evenly on baking sheet. Bake for about 15 minutes.
  3. Take the base out of the oven, spread first the créme fraîche and then the diced bacon and cut up green onions on top. Cover with the rest of the cheese.
  4. Put into the oven for another 15 minutes.
  5. Take out, cut up and enjoy!
